Accessibility statement

We want Company Screener’s public information and client workflows to be usable by people with different access needs and assistive technologies.

Our commitment

The Company Screener Incorporated aims to identify, prevent, and remove barriers in its digital services and communications. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product and service responsibility.

We aim to design toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA while considering the requirements that apply under Ontario accessibility law. This is a design objective, not a claim that every page or workflow has completed independent conformance testing.

Design and content approach

Our public and client interfaces aim to provide:

  • semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and link text;
  • keyboard-accessible navigation and controls;
  • visible focus states and sufficient colour contrast;
  • light and dark visual themes;
  • responsive layouts that support zoom and smaller screens;
  • text alternatives or explanatory content where visual material is necessary; and
  • plain-language explanations for important decision states.

Known limitations and testing

The service is evolving and may contain accessibility barriers. A complete independent accessibility audit has not yet been confirmed. We will not make a formal conformance claim until the applicable scope has been tested and material findings have been addressed.

Feedback about a barrier will be reviewed alongside its effect on the user, the affected workflow, and the most appropriate remediation.

Accessible formats and communication supports

If you need public information in another format or require a communication support to use the service, contact us and describe the information or workflow involved and the format or support requested. We will work with you to identify a suitable option, subject to applicable requirements and reasonable technical constraints.

Accessibility feedback

Send accessibility questions, requests, or reports to support@thecompanyscreener.com.

Helpful details include the page or workflow, the barrier encountered, the browser or assistive technology used, and a preferred way to receive a response.

Information about Ontario accessibility requirements is available from the Government of Ontario.
